Enam Chowdhury

Chef Enam Chowdhury has spent his entire career in the upper echelon of hospitality with over 30 years of experience in luxurious hotels and restaurants in Great Britain, Thailand, South Africa, Italy and the USA. He is an acclaimed chef & maître d, and a master of cheese with a Fromateur de Fromage designation certified by the Artisanal Cheese Company and La Picholine, New York. Enam sharpened his skills locally at The Mansion on Turtle Creek, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, but it was the position of Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director for Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards which brought him to Northeast Texas. His cuisine ranges from Asia to Europe and the Americas. Currently the Executive Chef at The Chophouse on Bankhead in Mount Vernon, Chef Enam brings his special touch to the growing epicurean scene in Northeast Texas. Brandon Rodriguez

Chef Brandon Rodriguez is no stranger to the food industry. Growing up with a father who has over 30 years of experience in the field, one could say he was destined to be a chef. A Mount Vernon local, Brandon was part of the first class to graduate in the NTCC culinary program and furthered his education with a Bachelor's degree from the Art Institute in Dallas, TX. Through the years Brandon has worked for several large food service corporations such as Brinker International, Aramark, and Logan’s Roadhouse. Starting a family also meant a move to North Georgia for a few years, but Brandon brought the family back to Northeast Texas and is currently the Executive Chef for The Marina at Lake Cypress Springs. New ownership at the marina have allowed Brandon to create and serve dishes that showcase his talent, including a variety of specials on the weekends. His food passions are authentic Mexican cuisine, Asian flavors, and some of the best smoked meat in the South! Brandon brings fresh new energy and approachable gourmet cuisine to the Northeast Texas region. Oscar Cruz

A native of San Diego, California, Chef Oscar Cruz embarked on his culinary journey at Le Cordon Blue in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2007. He completed an externship at the AAA 5 Diamond Restaurant, The Boulders Waldorf Astoria, working under Phoenix celebrity Chef Gregory Weiner. He later became the Executive Chef at Postinos Wine Cafe in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Oscar continued to hone his skills at Tonto Verde Country Club, and later at AAA 5 Diamond Restaurants, Cork and NOCA, which were both nominated for James Beard awards. In 2013, Oscar ventured out to open a food truck in Tucson, Arizona, where he served casual food with a gourmet twist.  To grow his skill set further, Oscar relocated to Texas as the Executive Chef of 24 Plates Restaurant where they won the Critics Choice Awards for Best Brunch and Best Appetizer in Forth Worth, Texas. This recognition provided him the opportunity to become the Sous Chef at Hageman Reserve in Sulphur Bluff. While that business never fully materialized, Oscar and his family fell in love with Mount Vernon and decided to stay, opening Mount Vernon Martial Arts and offering private catering and consulting. Now adding to these ventures, Oscar will also open a new restaurant in downtown Mount Vernon called El Caribe, featuring Caribbean street food and weekly specials in October 2018. Donna Copeland

Chef Donna DeShazo Copeland took her childhood passion of food to the next level, working to become a classically trained Chef from Le Cordon Bleu. Her love of food, family and community earned her the nickname "Mama D" by all the extra children she would feed in her home that couldn't say DeShazo. Now simply know as Chef D, she is taking her knowledge of nutrition and food science to work at Mama D's Catering Co. where she brings the fresh chef-crafted, seasonally-inspired menus back to the home where they belong. Chef D specializes in off-site catering and Personal Chef Services. Culinary Contributions: Market on Main - Cooking Demo @ 2:30pm 



Chase Glover

Chase Glover was born and raised in East Texas, son of a professional musician and a police officer. He has been a peace officer for over twenty years and a songwriter and performer longer than that. Chase is a single father currently raising two sons and two parents. He cites his biggest songwriting influences as Guy Clark, Drew Kennedy and Heather Little and hopes one day soon to retire from police work and play and write full time. Cole Allen

On the rural roots songwriter side of Americana and equipped with acoustic guitar, harmonica, and Farmer Foot Drums, Cole Allen delivers simple, sophisticated lyrics with the grit of a one-man-show. Musical influences include: Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Jerry Jeff Walker, Hayes Carll, James McMurtry, Robert Earl Keen, and Adam Carroll. Performing: Market on Main @ 3:00pm



Heather Nikole Harper

Heather Nikole Harper is an East Texas native based in Tyler, Texas and is a Singer, Songwriter, Musician, and Independent Recording Artist. Heather embarked on her musical voyage of artistic discovery as a youngster, growing up listening to a variety of musicians and genres that have played an influential role in shaping her signature sound. Performing: Market on Main @ 4:30pm



Lee Mathis

Lee Mathis is the lead singer of the outlaw country/southern rock band, Lee Mathis & The Brutally Handsome based out of Henderson, Texas. His debut album "The Hard Stuff" came out in 2017 and produced the singles "Nice & Slow", "Make You Mine", and "Something About the Rain", the latter of which was nominated in 2018 for Song of the Year. Lee has been nominated by the ETX Music Awards as Entertainer of the Year as well as Country Artist of the Year. Lee has opened for several country legends such as Mickey Gilley, Johnny Lee, Billy Joe Shaver, Jason Boland, and John Anderson. Performing: Market on Main @ 12:00pm



Rick Legg

Rick Legg is a master of bass fishing and the bench press. He also sings. Performing: Market on Main @ 1:30pm



A jazz trio featuring Martyn Popey on guitar and bass, Maryah McHam as lead vocalist, and Mike McGowan on saxophone and keyboard. Martyn lived and studied Jazz Guitar and Classical/Jazz Bass in London for many years before relocating to East Texas where he now regularly plays solo and with big band and jazz ensembles throughout the region. Maryah is a Longview, TX native throughout the United States and internationally as part of her university choir, as lead vocalists for pop rock, country, blues and jazz bands, and has a deep respect for great female vocalists such as Rosemary Clooney, Julie London, Doris Day and Ella Fitzgerald. Mike is an accomplished sax and keyboard player, holding a master's degree in composition and theory, who taught for 33 years and is now an active performer, arranger and composer in the East Texas area.
