Mount Vernon Food & Wine Festival

The Mount Vernon Food and Wine Festival which includes The Harvest on Main (Friday night) and The Market on Main (Saturday) is held the fourth weekend in October.

Retail vendors with a culinary or wine focus are invited to apply for a 10x10 booth space ($75 per reserved space) and participate at The Market on Main from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday.


Festival Guidelines


♦ All applicants must provide a photo of their booth and examples of the items that will be offered for sale.  The décor of the booths should reflect a fall festival and be attractive and neat.

♦ The Festival reserves the right to reject any application for vendor space or any item listed on a vendor application which is deemed unsafe, inappropriate for family viewing, or not in the spirit of the festival.

♦ Festival reserves the right to inspect booths at any time during the festival to ensure compliance.

♦ All Festival vendors must provide their own free standing, covered tent, supplies and lighting.

♦ Vendors must bring a minimum of 50 ft heavy duty extension cord if using electricity.

♦ Vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, tables and chairs.

♦ Vendors are responsible for keeping the booth in a neat, clean condition and cleaning their area at the end of the day.

♦ The Festival hold the irrevocable right to assign booth locations.

♦ If you are exempt from sales tax liability, you must provide appropriate documentation.

All others must have Texas Sales and Use Tax Permit on display in your booth.  A compliance visit from the State Comptroller’s office can be expected during the day.  You are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of all sales/use tax applicable to your sales.

♦ This is an outdoor event.  There are no refunds for inclement weather.
Setup will begin on Saturday at 8:30 am.  Festival staff will be on site beginning at 8:30 am.  All support vehicles must be removed by 10 am and all booths must be ready for business by 11am.

♦ Booth breakdown must not begin before the close of the festival at 7pm.  No vehicular traffic will be permitted on the festival grounds between 11am and 7 pm on the day of the Festival
